Quarantine requirements are becoming more and more significant to any cross border freight transport. These requirements can cause delays and frustration for importers and exporters as they try to meet demanding delivery schedules. That’s why L. Arthur has developed the most efficient and flexible quarantine depot in Melbourne. With a 1.1 AQIS approved license we are able to meet all your requirements quickly and conveniently.

We offer tailgate inspections of all containers (metropolitan and country in 15 minute turnarounds). We also provide fumigation of all products, unpacking and inspection of goods under AQIS instructions (clear of Customs), unpacking and inspection clear of Customs and AQIS control, washing of machinery and other goods under AQIS control and foot and mouth steam cleaning of containers under AQIS control.

We also have storage facilities available with Reach Stackers capable of lifting 45 tonne in five high stacks.
