Quarantine controls at our borders are becoming more and more significant to minimise the risk of exotic pests and diseases entering Australia. These controls can cause delays and frustration for Importers and Exporters as they try to meet demanding delivery schedules. That’s why L.Arthur has developed Melbourne’s largest, most efficient, flexible and permanently manned AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection Services) quarantine depot.
With an AQIS 1.1 approved licence, we can meet all of your quarantine requirements quickly, conveniently and at a competitive price. We offer tailgate inspections for all containers (within 15 minutes). We also provide fumigation, FCL and LCL unpacking and inspection of goods under AQIS instructions (clear of Customs), foot and mouth steam cleaning of containers under AQIS control and washing of machinery.
